Inside Billing Overview tab you'll find details about next billing date, estimate amount of next billing, and individual websites list with upgrade plan button.
Collaborators of website can only able to view website plan, they won't be able to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel website plan. To do so, they needs to contact website owner.
Within each website section, numbers of subscribers and maximum limit will be shown along with monthly subscription amount. You can easily update website subscription by choosing your desired plan from Subscription Plan dropdown list.
There are situations where a credit needs to be issued back to a customer who has paid for a Botgento service period. For instance, if a customer downgrade higher website plan to lower, in such cases Botgento will gives you daily basis pro-ration difference credit which will be apply on next transaction.
When a subscription is upgraded, Botgento calculates the amount for the remaining period of the new plan and will charge only difference.
For e.g.: Current Plan: $50 / month New plan: $100 / month
Proration calculation will be:
You paid $50 at the beginning of billing cycle.
Assume after 15 days, you upgrade your plan
Here, you will get 15 days proration credit of previous plan i.e. $25 and your upgraded plan amount for next 15 days will be $50.
Botgento will charged you $25 ($50 for new plan - $25 credit)
Your next billing amount will be $100.
In case of downgrade website plan, there will be a net credit for you.
For e.g.: Current Plan: $100 / month New plan: $50 / month
Proration calculation will be:
You paid $100 at the beginning of billing cycle.
After 15 days, you downgrade your plan.
Here, you will get 15 days proration credit of previous plan i.e. $50 and your new plan amount for next 15 days will be $25.
Botgento didn't charged you because you have $50 credit of unused plan and new plan amount for remaining period is $25.
In such scenario your net additional credits after downgrading plan is $25.
This credit will be apply to your next transaction.
